Emergency responders

Disaster recovery is a set of procedures and measures aimed at restoring an organization’s normal activities after a crisis situation, such as a natural disaster, cyber attack or power failure. Disaster recovery usually involves setting up a business continuity plan, detailing the steps to be taken to ensure the safety of people, data and infrastructure. Disaster recovery may also require the use of external services, such as cloud providers, backup data centers or emergency response teams. The aim of disaster recovery is to minimize the financial, operational and relational losses caused by a major incident, such as video surveillance of major roadworks in urban or remote areas.
